The short version
MailLoyal for iPhone, iPad and Mac is licensed to you under Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement; MailLoyal for Android is provided under these terms. This page points to Apple’s licence, explains the optional purchases that remove ads on iPhone, iPad and Android, and states plainly how MailLoyal works with your mail accounts and with AI providers.
1. The licence
MailLoyal, when you get it from the App Store or the Mac App Store, is licensed to you under Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the “Standard EULA”). Nothing on this page replaces or changes it. Where this page and the Standard EULA differ, the Standard EULA applies.
MailLoyal for Android, when you get it from Google Play, is provided to you under these terms. Your use of Google Play itself, including paying for a purchase, is governed by Google Play’s Terms of Service.
2. Removing ads on iPhone, iPad and Android
MailLoyal is free on every platform, with every mail feature. The iPhone, iPad and Android apps show ads, and offer the same two optional in-app purchases that remove them. Nothing else changes when you buy one.
- Ad-Free Monthly is an auto-renewing subscription of one month, at US$3.00 a month in the United States.
- Ad-Free Lifetime is a one-time purchase, at US$24.99 in the United States.
2.1 On iPhone and iPad
- The App Store shows the price for your country before you confirm. Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase.
- The subscription renews automatically unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple Account is charged for the renewal within the 24 hours before the current period ends.
- You can manage or cancel the subscription in your Apple Account settings after purchase: in MailLoyal under Settings → Remove ads → Manage subscription, or on iPhone under Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Buying Ad-Free Lifetime does not cancel a subscription, so cancel it there so you are not charged again.
- A purchase covers every iPhone and iPad signed in to the same Apple Account. Settings → Remove ads → Restore purchases brings it back on a new device or after reinstalling.
- Purchases are made with Apple, which handles payment, billing and refunds under its own terms. Refunds are requested from Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. MailLoyal receives no payment or purchase information.
2.2 On Android
- Google Play shows the price for your country before you confirm. Payment is charged to your Google Play account when you confirm the purchase.
- The subscription renews automatically each month until you cancel it.
- You can cancel the subscription at any time in Google Play, under Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions, or in MailLoyal under Settings → Remove ads → Manage subscription. The ads stay off until the end of the period you have already paid for. Buying Ad-Free Lifetime does not cancel a subscription, so cancel it there so you are not charged again.
- A purchase covers every Android device signed in to the same Google Account. Settings → Remove ads → Restore purchases brings it back on a new device or after reinstalling.
- Purchases are made with Google Play, which handles payment and billing under its own terms. Refund requests go to Google Play first, under its refund policies; where Google Play directs you to the developer, write to the address in section 6.
- MailLoyal never receives your payment details. As the seller, it can see Google Play’s record of each order, such as the product, the price and the date, in Google Play Console; the app itself sends no purchase information anywhere.
The Mac app shows no ads and sells nothing.
3. Your mail accounts
MailLoyal connects only to the mail accounts you add, with the passwords you give it, and acts on your instructions. Your use of each account stays subject to your mail provider’s own terms. Removing an account from MailLoyal deletes the copy on your device and leaves your mail on the server. What MailLoyal stores, and where, is described in the Privacy Policy.
4. The AI features
The AI features are optional and off until you turn them on. They use an API key of your own with the provider you choose, Anthropic or OpenAI. Your use of that provider is governed by your agreement with it, and it bills you for the usage.
AI output can be wrong. Every draft and rewrite lands in the editor for you to read and change, MailLoyal never sends a message on your behalf, and you are responsible for what you choose to send.
5. Changes to these terms
If this page changes, the date at the top changes with it. The Standard EULA is maintained by Apple, and Google Play’s Terms of Service by Google, at the addresses above.
